FRESNO – Mykayle McCoy totaled 20 points and 12 rebounds while Na'Jae Stevenson also had a double-double with 10 points and 13 rebound to help lead Lemoore College to a narrow 52-51 win at Fresno City College on Wednesday.
The Central Valley Conference victory snapped a two-game losing skid and improved the Golden Eagles to 10-9 overall as well as 3-2 in conference play.
Lemoore took a 29-25 lead into halftime and was able to hold off the Rams in the second. The Golden Eagles were solid on the boards, collecting 50 rebounds while limiting turnovers to just seven for the game.
Davion Jackson added 8 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists and Kason Smith contributed 6 points and 7 rebounds.
Lemoore is back in action on Saturday (Jan. 24) when the Golden Eagles host Merced College in a Central Valley Conference game.
