EAGLES WIN 3-1 IN GILROY VS GAVILAN COLLEGE

West Hills gets back to its winning ways on Tuesday in Gilroy, Ca. The Golden Eagles took on the Gavilan Rams in a non conference game at Gavilan College. This was only the 3rd game for the Rams (0-3) who found their team behind 2-0 at the half with goals from Victor Viana and a Saul Mejia. In the second half a Ram defender was sent off for using foul language and the "No Tollerance Policy" was enforced by the center official in the 55th minute.
The Rams fought hard a man down and scored an incredible free kick over the Golden Eagle wall and off the far post to bring the score to 2-1 in the 60th minute. Jason Ruiz put the game on ice in the 75th minute directing a cross to the far post off a Ram defender.
West Hills moves to 6-3 on the season and will kick off Central Valley Conference play this Friday vs Fresno City College in Lemoore at 4pm.
