MONTEREY – Freshman Alan Enriquez had an impressive Lemoore College debut by knocking in a pair of goals to help lead the Golden Eagles to a 3-2 win at Monterey Peninsula College in both teams' season opener on Friday.
Lemoore held a 2-1 at halftime and was able to hang on for the road victory.
Freshman Justin Jimenez also made his presence held in his first game in a Lemoore jersey. He tallied the Golden Eagles' other goal and added an assist.
Lemoore will look to keep the momentum going on Wednesday (Aug. 27) when the Golden Eagles host East Los Angeles College in their home opener. Kick off is scheduled for 3 p.m.
