PORTERVILLE – Lemoore College sophomore Anissa Zepeda had a huge game, recording a hat trick by scoring three goals as well as earning three assists, to help lead the Golden Eagles to a 6-0 win at Porterville College on Tuesday.
The Golden Eagles won their second straight Central Valley Conference game to improve to 5-10-3 overall and 4-5-3 in the CVC.
Zepeda recorded nine points in the contest. She scored two of Lemoore's five goals in the first half to open up a huge lead. Sophomore Bailee Goforth added two goals and Jackie Pizano also scored.
Sophomore Dafne Ulloa and Alessandra Zamorano split time in goal for the Golden Eagles to combine for the shutout, Lemoore's fourth of the season.
Lemoore will look to keep the momentum going on Friday (Oct. 31) when the Golden Eagles host Reedley College in a 4 p.m. Central Valley Conference game.
