LEMOORE – The Lemoore College women's volleyball ran its impressive overall record to 6-1 following a 3-0 sweep of visiting Clovis Community College on Friday as part of the West Hills Challenge at Golden Eagle Arena.
Lemoore won the match over Clovis by scores of 25-23, 25-20, and 25-17.
Olivia Nourian led the offense with 15 kills to go along with 9 digs while Emily Ramirez had a team-high 21 digs while posting 11 kills.
Kyana Rivera totaled 33 assists and Ella Jackson had a solid all-around match with 6 kills, 4 aces, and 2 blocks.
The Golden Eagles were able to bounce back from a 25-22, 25-16, 25-14 loss to a solid Santa Rosa Junior College squad earlier in the day.
Nourian had 13 kills and 8 digs while Rivera totaled 25 assists and 10 digs in the defeat.
Lemoore is back in action on Wednesday (Sep. 3) when the Golden Eagles travel to Santa Ana College for a 5 p.m. non-conference game.
